Team Sacramento Judo heads our Judo program here at UTC.
The Konjo School of Martial Arts/Team Sacramento Judo have been teaching martial arts to students of all types for nearly three decades. We have established ourselves as a place where students can come and experience martial arts training with a culture of unity, family, mutual support and encouragement.
Through their classes at UTC, you’ll learn the effective art of judo, including throws, takedowns, positional control, and tactics unique to this time-honored art.
Team Sacramento Judo was established in 1989 as the competitive arm of the Konjo School of Martial Arts. Since 1989 Team Sacramento Judo has made a name for itself as one of the most competitive martial arts training centers in northern California. The members of Team Sacramento Judo have received countless medals and trophies at local competitions and over 200 junior and senior national and international medals. Team Sacramento has a reputation for training our athletes hard and achieving success.
Team Sacramento Judo established non profit status in 2001 and we have been assisting low income and high risk youth since our inception in 1979. Our organization was founded on the principles of dedication, training, commitment, and technical excellence. Our coaching staff is composed of high quality individuals that believe in our team concept of creating an environment where all those who wish to train hard and learn can participate. We welcome anyone who would like to learn more about us to either contact us or come visit one of our practice sessions.
As of October 2007 Team Sacramento Judo has re-located its Roseville location to Ultimate Training Center. For information on judo and/or mixed martial artists offerings at Ultimate Training Center contact us. |

Ever since "Gentleman" Jim Corbett defeated John L. Sullivan to win the heavyweight championship in 1892, "The Sweet Science" of boxing has evolved from its murky origins as a mere bare-knuckle contest of wills. Using footwork, timing, defense and tactics, you'll study boxing at UTC under the instruction of professional MMA fighters and trained instructors. Using drills, conditioning and the real-life knowledge of UTC staff, you will study boxing to refine your self-defense and fighting ability in a no-nonsense, fun fashion.
Hitting and not getting hit is the basic principle of boxing, and at UTC, you'll learn all the old-school tactics to improve your game while getting a wealth of lessons simply not available from a lesser-experienced staff. Boxing is a key part of MMA training, as well, and you'll learn to incorporate it into your MMA game while having fun. |
